I was 10 years old when I bought my first wetsuit and started this splendid adventure in the waters of Leuca to discover the submerged treasures and the most beautiful seabed of Salento. the "Salento Diving ®" diving center was born from the passion for the sea of Gianluca Cassano, the ONLY local underwater guide and manager of the diving center in S.M. of Leuca. Gianluca began practicing freediving from an early age by exploring the depths of Leuca, forging strong and sincere ties with local people and fishermen. He began scuba diving in 1998 and chose to become a professional diver in 2006, also acquiring the title of Technical Underwater Operator. In 2007 he placed a sacred statue at the bottom of the sea, the "Madonnina dei due mari" now known all over the world. The mix of all these experiences, knowledge of the seabed and places will make your dives with Salento Diving unique and unforgettable."
